HumUni (hyoom-you-nigh) is a hip hop duo formed of Brooklyn MC’s Mega and Ish. Rooted in a shared passion for music and bonded by friendship, they have been making music since 2008. The duo has three official releases and have rocked at venues like The Apollo Theater, Roseland Ballroom, and Emory University. Folks like to say they’re the brainchild of A Tribe Called Quest, OutKast, and BlackStar. HumUni is also a noun encased in an acronym that is applicable to all people: a Humble, understanding, money-making, uniquely-new individual. Through the music, this is what Mega and Ish strive to be along with sharing the same values with their supporters.
